Fairyland

my husband's birthday was yesterday and what better way is there to spend a 42nd birthday

than to head over to Children's Fairyland and watch this bright eyed little girl take it all in.

it was quite literally the BEST DAY EVER! i just wish we could have stayed longer.

i think we only covered half the park before naptime hit

niether one of us had been there since we were very little

and it was fun to see which attractions we remembered.

there were surprisingly quite a few.

the park has been around since 1950 and is said to have been

the inspiration for Disneyland. it's a little rundown but still very cool.

funny to see how freaky alot of the figurines are.

like this crazy looking pony!! Emily still loved it.

we got her a magic key at the door.

i'm a little bummed they were handing out black ones.

wish we could have gotten a gold key, but i'm thinking we could probably spray paint it.

anyways, it was an EPIC day and we can't wait to go back.

if you're in or around Oakland and you have little ones it's a must see!
