My Highly Underwhelming Dragon Con Wrap Up

Hey kids!

I hope everyone had a faboo holiday weekend if you live in the USA, or just a great weekend in general if you live elsewhere.

Well, as all of you know, our adventure for the weekend was to attend Dragon Con on Saturday. None of us have ever been to the largest Sci-fi/Fantasy convention in the US before, but we have always wanted to go, so we thought one day there would be enough for us to get our toes wet and see if we enjoyed it enough to stay all 4 days next year.

Long story short, it was amazingly awesome, but very, very, very, overwhelming. Hanging around with 60,000 other geeky individuals on a Saturday can be a bigger shock to the system than most people think. I’ve never been around so many people that are just like me before so I spent most of my time people watching, looking at all of the amazing costumes, but I failed miserably in the photos department of said costumes because I was so overwhelmed with everything I saw that day. I didn’t even get a picture of my Niece Sara in her Khalessi costume.

I did however get two photos before getting to Atlanta for your viewing pleasure LOL.

Brian decided to wear his Adam Savage outfit for the trip. Alas, we didn’t see Adam there or I would have gotten a pick of them together .

So, I promise you all right now that when we go to Dragon Con next year, I will take tons of photos and have a much better wrap up for you. Only 359 days to go!!
