Gift wrapping 101-Boxes

Gift wrapping has to be one of my favorite things about the holidays. I do love choosing and buying gifts but it's definitely the best part of it all.
If you're wrapping something in a box its good to make sure that once the person gets to the contents in the box, that it looks nice, so fold whatever it is nicely, then wrap it gently in tissue paper and a nice ribbon with a bow adds a nice touch.
Next I wrap the box with two sheets of tissue paper, folding the corners just like I would the wrapping paper itself,(which I'm about to show you how) *so when cutting the paper around the box you need to make sure that it covers both the flat surface and the sides, to make sure you have enough (and not too much) just lift the sides up and see if they reach the top of the box, if they do then you're good* So the first thing to do is fold over the sides of the surface and tape them down. Then push down the part coming over the top of the box.(photo2) Next pull the corners in and flatten part of it to the side of the box, this will automatically force you to flatten the other part of it flat on the table or floor(wherever you're wrapping) adjust the top peices to make it as flat as possible, then repeat on the other side. Now it should look like the 4th photo.
Now all you have to do is take another piece of take and pull up the rest of it to reach the top side of the box, then repeat for the other side! The hard part is over, now all you need to do is add the to and from tag and you're all set :) I love using my Tiffany pen for writing cards and tags, even if the person doesn't know what I used to write it.. I find it more special :p

Happy Holidays and Happy Wrapping :)
