The Weekend Dish: 11/15/2014

Happy Saturday to you!

I hope your weekend is off to a fantastic start! This afternoon is my baby shower, and oh my goodness, how is that I’m already two days shy of 32 weeks and it’s time for a baby shower?! It still feels so surreal that we’re going to have a little baby in a couple of short months. Needless to say, my weekend will be consumed with baby stuff, and most likely a lot of organizing once we get everything home! What do you have planned for the next couple of days?

As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week as well as some bookmarked recipes from other blogs. Enjoy!

On Brown Eyed Baker This Week

My Thanksgiving Menu (2014) – A recap of what I plan on serving for Thanksgiving dinner this year!

Aunt Vicki’s Corn and Mixed Vegetable Casserole – My aunt’s classic holiday vegetable casserole – a huge hit every time she makes it!

Chocolate Chip-Pecan Pie Bars – An easy alternative to pecan pie, with a little punch of chocolate, and much simpler to transport and eat!

Friday Things – Baby shower, long hair, Pop-Tarts, organizing, and more!

What I Bookmarked This Week

Recipes and posts from other blogs that I thought looked especially delicious and that I thought you would like, too:

Cake Batter Blondies (Bake at 350)
I love cake batter flavors, and these blondies look perfect for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday!

Cocoa Pebble Cereal Milk Pudding (Take a Megabite)
I have yet to experiment with cereal milk, but I need to ASAP… this pudding sounds insane in the best way possible.

Copy Cat Cracker Barrel Hashbrown Casserole (Spend with Pennies)
I adore cheesy casserole, as well as hash browns and Cracker Barrel food, so it’s a no brainer that this will show up in my kitchen in absolutely no time.

Eggnog Cupcakes with Whipped Bourbon Buttercream (Blahnik Baker)
These are seriously gorgeous cupcakes, and how amazing does that whipped bourbon buttercream sound?! Eat a spoonful for me, please.

Salted Pretzel Marshmallow Blondies (Cookies and Cups)
Pretzels and marshmallows are a totally underrated combination; these blondies are just genius!

Have a delicious weekend!
