Justin Timberlake & NSYNC at the 2013 MTV VMAs

You all know that I have professed my love for the beautiful creature that is Justin Timberlake many an occassion, but I think we need to discuss the magic that was made on the 2013 MTV Video Music Award stage last night! Not only did Justin deliver a seamless medley of his solo works, including "Cry Me A River" & his newest hit "Take Back the Night", he turned grown ass women around the world into adolescent fangirls with an NSYNC reunion! They came together to sing a shortened blip of "Girlfriend" & "Bye Bye Bye". My mind instantly went back to memories of middle school & doing the choreography in my neighbor's garage! I'm sure we all had mini heart attacks. My best friend told me she started crying! Watch the reunion performance HERE.
Sorry Backstreet Boys, but I'm Team NSYNC til I die! One Direction, take notes! I'm sure this has spurred millions of NSYNC Google searches & plays on Spotify, so they might as well just come out with a reunion tour, right?! C'mon guys, the people want it!

It goes without saying that Justin's performance was perfection. MTV gave him a 15 minute set, Justin gave us a concert! Unlike his Legends of the Summer concert, he was more theatrical, using more of the stage, & even backstage. As a dancer, I appreciate the dancer entourage & choreography, new & old. I wonder, how does he keep his fedora on his head the whole time?! I'm sure his 20/20 Experience Tour will mirror this show. Though I wasn't planning on getting tickets, I may just have to find a way to get to that concert!
On an unrelated note, I just had to comment on Robin Thicke's medleywith Miley Cyrus. I love me some Robin Thicke, but that BeetleJuice suit? Please no, never again. Miley Cyrus? Hell no. I think most people watching Miley felt awkward and uncomfortable. Put your tongue back in your mouth & hit that squat rack, girl. That is all.
