Breaking Bad Series Finale Predictions

The series finale of Breaking Bad is upon us, & I'm not sure how to feel. I'm definitely sad because this amazing series is coming to an end. I'm anxious because it could end in an endless combination of different ways & hopeful for the last episode to be satisfyingly dramatic.
SPOILER ALERT!
If you aren't caught up on the final season (the second half), there are some people on Youtube who have been diligently uploading episodes for us non-cable subscribers. I'm not going to list which accounts because I don't want anyone to get flagged & shut down due to copywrite issues, but I bet you'll find them with a little research. Here's a little run down on what has happened up until the last aired episode, "Granite State":
  • Hank finds out that Walt is Heisenberg & reinvestigate the case
  • A flash forward shows Walt on his 52nd birthday revisiting his abandoned & vandalized home in New Mexico
  • Walt buries barrels of his cash in the desert
  • Walt makes a "confessional" video, ultimately pointing to Hank as the mastermind behind Heisenberg
  • Jesse attempts to torch Walt's home after finding out that he gave Brock the ricin, but Hank stops him
  • Walt tells Uncle Jack that Jesse is their new target
  • Hank & Gomez use Jesse to lure Walt to the place where he buried his money
  • Walt tries to call off the hit with Todd's uncle, but Uncle Jack kills Gomez & Hank anyway, then takes off with most of Walt's money
  • Todd takes Jesse hostage & forces him to cook meth
  • Skyler confesses everything to Marie & Walt Jr.
  • Walt uses Saul's contact to relocate to New Hampshire
  • Todd threatens Skyler to keep quiet about Lydia
  • Jesse tries to escape from being Todd's hostage, but fails, & Todd kills Andrea in front of Jesse
  • Walt calls the DEA to oust his location, but leaves after seeing Elliot & Gretchen on TV denying Walt's involvment with Gray Matter
So what's gonna happen? At this point, anything could happen! Will Jesse & Walt reconcile their partnership & team up against the neo-nazis? Will Walt ever be able to return to his family? Does the entire empire with Madrigal & Lydia survive?

Here's my take.

Walt is still my hero til the end, regardless of how dark & evil he became. As much as I love his character, I think he dies in the finale. The question is how. Cancer? His own hand? Jesse? Walt's death is the only way I could see the series ending with full closure. Walt told his son that everything he has done was for his family. In the end, I see Walt accepting all of his deeds & agreeing that all of this must end in order for his family to live happily ever after, even if that means without him. I think he dies by his own hand after taking care of all his loose ends (Todd & the Neo-Nazis, Lydia & Madrigal, Jesse, Gray Matter).

I think Skyler, Walt Jr., Baby Holly, & Marie all survive. It is possible that Skyler may do some time for her association to the case, but she's vicitimized enough to come out clean.

I hope Jesse survives, and I hope that Jesse & Walt find some closure so that they are no longer enemies.

I'm sure there is a climactic shoot out scene since Walt purchases the M60, which is most likely for the Neo-Nazis.

There's speculation that the ricin is meant for Lydia's chamomile tea since we all know she loves her Splenda. I think they've hinted so much at it that it's too obvious at this point, but maybe that will be the only part of the episode that will be predicable.

I don't think Walt will kill Elliot & Gretchen of Gray Matter, but I do think he will meet with them & make a bold statement that he deserves the recognition for their successful company.

Ultimately, I predict the end of the meth empire & the end of Walter White. What are your predictions?
