Small Space, Big Ideas

Let me just start by saying: I am a terrible gardener. I somehow always manage to kill plants, even though I love them so much. A few weeks ago, I was sent this book from Penguin Books called 'Small Space, Big Ideas' by Dorling Kindersley. Our house and garden is quite small, so this book is perfect for us! It is filled with easy projects that are suitable for small spaces, and you can use lot's of succulents plants that are easy to keep alive. It also includes lot's of tips advice for gardening, which was really helpful for me. I've thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the projects, and doing some of them myself!

Above are some of the projects I made. I'm really happy with how they turned out! I think they all match together so nicely, I can't wait to put them around my bedroom and house. The plants are sitting on a bench I made at school this year, I think they look really good against the light coloured wood.

It's so good to take a break from online hobbies and spend some time outdoors. I feel like I don't do it enough these days! I really hope you guys enjoyed this post, I know it's different to what I usually post about, but it was so much fun to put together! This book is a must have for anyone wanting to start gardening, I highly recommend it! There are so many awesome projects that I haven't shown. I hope everyone has a happy Friday! xx

Disclosure: Penguin Books sent me this book in return for an honest review. All opinions expressed are 100% my own. Many thanks to Maria for sending me a copy of this great book! Thank-you for supporting the companies that make Emily Jane possible.
