on addiction [and etsy].

you guys, I have a confession to make. sometimes, on lonely friday nights (the hubs is back to his regular work/travel schedule) I opt to sit on the couch with my iPad and a little mindless TV instead of going out. seems harmeless, right? until you realize you’ve been “favoriting” things on Etsy for three hours. (was it three?) the biggest problem? shopping with the Etsy app sort of feels like playing a game, or perusing Pinterest. but with credit cards.

i may or may not have spent last friday favoriting Valentines, and stationery, and prints, and pretty pencils. before i knew it, my cart was full (and subsequently so was my mailbox this week).

the worst news is it’s friday again. and the hubs is still gone. and my couch (and pjs) and iPad are already calling my name. send help. fast. or better yet, favorite along with me (here).
