Thankful Thursday

There is always, always, always something to be thankful for. -Unknown

This is one line I have learned since I was a kid. I used to hear my parents say be thankful and grateful all the time. There are just a few of the common words of courtesy they have instilled in me and my brother. We call these magic words - PLEASE, I'M SORRY, and THANK YOU. It wouldn't harm or cost you a single cent to say that.

So today, I thought of starting my Gratitude journal. It never is too late to start one. I found an unused yellow notebook which I bought a few years back and decided to make it my journal. Am thankful of its color. A color which brings joy and happiness, reminds me to be grateful each day.

I scribbled down a list this morning. Sharing a few with you:

I am thankful for:
- waking up to another day
- a safe and sound sleep last night
- finding a few old coins while uncluttering a desk drawer last night. That includes a golden dollar coin and a 1979 silver dollar coin.
- waking up an hour early today so I could prepare packed lunch for work
- a perfect weather.
and the list could go on... and on... and on...
