Naked 3-esque Eyeshadow Shades

I think I can speak for most of us when I say we are Naked obsessed! The Naked 1 & 2 Palettes are some of my favourites that I own, so when the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette came out I was beyond excited (see me using it here). That being said, I hear a lot of people telling me that it’s not as wearable to them as the first and second palette, so I thought I’d rummage through my eyeshadow drawer to find a few shades that are similar to some of the shades in the Naked 3 Palette. It’s all about the rose-toned shades today and the palette itself was actually inspired by a sunset (aww)! I love the idea behind this palette and think these types of shades are so romantic and are perfect for ‘date’ looks, as well as everyday!

Note: none of these are true dupes, but if you’re unsure about how to wear the Naked 3 Palette it might be useful for you to try some of these options before splashing out.

The first affordable Naked 3-esque palette I want to talk about is the Wet n Wild Comfort Zone Palette, specifically the left side of it. The top two shades are very similar to Naked 3 colours, however it is missing a pink shade. This is a nice palette to start with if you’re unsure about copper/bronze shades because the quality/pigmentation is outstanding for the price!

The L’Oréal Infallible Eye Shadow in Amber Rush definitely reminds me of a sunset, you? This is by far my favourite shade of the Infallible Eye Shadows and creates the most beautiful eyeshadow look. If a chilled out summer evening was an eyeshadow it would be this colour. It’s a good one.

The Maybelline Eyestudio Palette in ‘Copper Chic’ is the most similar thing I could find to my beloved Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette. Of course it’s a lot smaller so it doesn’t have every single shade replicated, but the general vibe of it is the same & I think it’s an awesome palette.

I love The Body Shop Shimmer Cubes Palettes (mainly because of their strange packaging) so I can’t believe I didn’t notice the shade 06 had a Naked 3 vibe about it sooner! This one comes in second (behind the Maybelline palette) as most similar to the Naked 3, so if you can manage to snag this I’d recommend it! Very cute and great for travelling because of its small size.

BONUS: I have two of the Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow Sticks in ‘Sand Dune’ and ‘Bronze’, which I wanted to mention because they work so well with the Naked 3 Palette. I love to use these as a base for my Naked 3 shades, so I just wanted to give them a bit of love in this post!
