Pre-Travel Pamper Evening

By the time you read this post I am most likely cruising down the open road on my way to Scandinavia. Perhaps I haven’t mentioned this on the blog yet, but Aslan and I will be spending a few weeks driving across Scandinavia and experiencing as many things as we can in that time. It’s a trip we’ve been planning for a LONG time and we’re both beyond excited for it. Anyway, since we’re leaving for quite awhile I wanted to squeeze in one last pamper evening before the travelling lifestyle gets the best of me.

Aveda Rosemary Mint Body Lotion
This body lotion is so calming and relaxing, while still feeling very refreshing. It’s been really hot in London, so I’ve been going for lighter body lotions lately and this one is great after a bath.

GLAMGLOW Thirsty Mud Mask
Hydrate that skin! Firstly, this stuff smells like coconuts (YUM) and it feels so amazing on the skin. I like to use a clarifying mask first and then put this on top for 10 minutes or so, which makes my skin look brand new. Great hydrating mask!

Botanicals Foot Balm
I’m going to be doing lots and lots of walking on this trip, so of course I had to pay some attention to my feet! After a nice scrubbing session (hot) I massaged a tiny bit of this onto my feet. It’s a concentrated product, so you don’t need that much to see great results. It’s infused with shea butter, vitamin e, tea tree and smells minty and delicious!

thisworks Deep Sleep Pillow Spray
My sleeping patterns lately have been a serious issue. For the past couple of weeks I’ve barely had more than 3 hours of sleep per night *cries*. I wanted to make sure I had some good rest before setting off so I misted my pillow with this pillow spray and tried to relax.

Aromatherapy Associates Cleansing Balm
Before using my face mask I had to remove my makeup of course. I’ve been testing out Aromatherapy Associates cleansing balm version lately and so far so good! It’s very gentle and soothing and makes my skin feel super soft! It doesn’t remove every single trace of eye makeup, so I make sure to have some Bioderma handy!

Aromatherapy Associates Support Bath Oil
I still can’t decide which AA bath oil is my favourite, but Support is definitely up there. It’s a combination of lavender and peppermint (can you tell I love minty things?) and it makes the entire bathing experince better. A few drops of this and my entire bathroom is scented and I can pretend I’m at the spa.

So now that I’m feeling nice and relaxed I am signing off for now! Don’t worry there will still be new posts/videos/tweets/instagram etc. soon, but the Internet may be a bit dodgy in some areas.
