On My Lips: Laura Mercier Lip Glacé in Wildflower

When I saw this shade sitting amongst the sea of lip products in Sephora it instantly stood out to me. I am a big fan of the “not-quite-red” shades (as I’m sure you’re all aware by now) and I haven’t tried a Laura Mercier Lip Glacé before so I thought it was worth a try! Wallflower is a sheer, reddish magenta colour that’s super high gloss. I’d say this is stickier than the average, so be careful of getting your hair attached to your lips on a windy day. I never really mind sticky glosses though, because it usually indicates that the colour will last longer than the average gloss. Because it’s a gloss it’s really easy to apply and very low maintenance so it’s the perfect thing to grab if you’re in a hurry because it gives your complexion an instant boost without the maintenance and upkeep a lipstick in this shade would be.
