Happy Independence Day!

Yesterday I took this little spitfire out to breakfast and as I juggled her on my hip she looked right at the cashier and said “I would wike some apple juice. I am a bery good singer. I can sing a Fwozen song for you.” And then she broke out into song. Enthusiastically. She did, however, generate a rousing round of applause from the morning diners at Chick-fil-A.

Later at the neighborhood pool, any time a new kid swam near her she would wave excitedly, yell “HEY! IT’S ME, SHCARWUT!” and then throw her floatie-adorned arms up in the air in an oversized Ta-da!

And I kind of felt as though that just absolutely sums up my child.
