spotted: bellocq.

hello it’s leslie and today i’m bringing a bit of my beloved brooklyn to the spotted series. as i’m making my way out there next week, i was feeling inspired to share this beautiful little tea atelier named bellocq with you.

i stumbled into this gem while exploring the greenpoint area of brooklyn some time ago. i recognized the name “bellocq” on a small sign of an unmarked building and found this gorgeous space hidden within. this was home to bellocq tea, makers of an exquisite line of high quality, artisan tea blends. three founders (heidi johannsen stewart, michael shannon and scott stewart) decided to combine their creative talents their appreciation for traditional craft and love of fine tea, and opened this truly unique tasting and design studio. here the selections are ever-changing as they venture around the world, meeting other artisans and discovering new ingredients that continuously inspire their blends. in the atelier you’ll discover canisters full of these fragrant varieties, as well as other complimentary accessories. you’ll also be greeted with a warm cup of tea to enjoy when you visit.
