I spent a little too long in the blue/green territory, and needed a quick change. I bought the supplies one rainy day, and planned on bleaching and dyeing later in the week, after I had a chance to fade my current hair color a little bit. After being home a few hours I couldn't wait any longer, and decided to just go for it. Story of my life, basically. I've always been like that. When I was younger and my mom would take me shopping for clothes, I would have my new clothes on before we even got home. Anyway, it worked out pretty darn awesome for this dye job. The blue/green shade that didn't come out with bleach made for a nice multi-toned look in each of the four colors I used.
I used exclusively Punky Colour for this dye job;
alpine green mixed with
bright yellow,
purple,
flamingo pink, and
lagoon blue. As always I mixed the dye half and half with conditioner before applying it.
I LOVE how this looks. It's basically the same colors I used for
this dye job a few years back that is still one of my favorites. This hair cut, which has basically been my go-to hair cut for at least ten years, is perfect for accentuating the different layers of colors. Not sure how long I'll stick with this dye job, but I definitely feel inspired to try more difficult, multi-color dye jobs as opposed to my normal two color looks.
