Boyfriend Jeans, Comfy Top and White Blazer | When Monday Goes Casual
Happy Monday everyone! I have a special post for you tonight featuring this new casual top and my favorite boyfriend jeans from JC Penney, (of course!), my favorite white blazer from H&M and some new gems (shoes) from DSW, I’d like to think of them as the perfect crossover shoe from winter to spring. The highlight piece of this look is my new Butterfly Fore Wing necklace that was generously given to me to style and introduce to you from the lovely owners, Michael and Aaron of Alyxia Leaf! Alyxia Leaf is an independent Brooklyn-based jeweler that specializes in creating jewelry which bring us back to nature, from a variety of real leaves gathered from Australia and across the United States to butterfly fore wings and sea horses. Yes, my necklace was made from a real butterfly fore wing meticulously bonded in a metal coating through a special electroforming technique that business partner and jewelry designer, Aaron created himself and finished with 24K gold. Don’t worry, their jewelry is still quite affordable! I love how the necklace is so delicate and simple, but provides just the right amount of pizazz to complete a look.
