Just for a quick natural dyeing public service announcement : If you are ever visiting Vancouver and have an interest in textile design you really should visit the Maiwa Supply Store on Granville Island. It is one of the best resources for natural dyeing in North America (with lots of good tips and a store online too) and I always feel lucky to have it in my very own hometown.
