KAWAII CAFÉ: VILLAGE VANGUARD DINER x gudetama

On the last day of Village Vanguard Diner x gudetama pop-up café at Yokohama Lumine, 6th floor, Laura and I decided to go together. We actually just met for the first time on the Sunday before November 5th with Allie at Moomin café in Tokyo Dome. Photos are on my instagram. You won't probably see any photos of our meet-up then since I left my camera and I promised to post only high quality photos on my blog.

"Yaho!" is an informal way of saying hello in Japanese.

What's on their menu?
1.Gudetama burger:¥1,780 2.Gudetama BBQ burger:¥1,780 3.Gude egg benedict:¥980 4.Gudetama bacon locomoco:¥1,580 5.Gudetama taco rice:¥1,580 6.Gudetama kids burger:¥780 7.Gudetama roll cake:¥880 8.Gude pudding:¥880 ※1、2、4、5 with special mug cups available only in the restaurant

OH NO!! Both Laura and I ordered gudetama BBQ burger. It was unbelievably good. Most of the kawaii cafés that I went to are just cute but the food tasted kinda blah. Except this one, the bun, meat and BBQ sauce were extraordinarily awesome for a burger. I'm definitely not a big fan of burgers, only gourmet ones because I don't eat mayonnaise and catsup and fast food burgers usually gives you that. Too bad this pop-up café has already ended. I would have really recommend it to everyone!

The concept of Gudetama is “Why don’t you stop dieting only today? It doesn’t matter! Enjoy a large amount of strong-tasting meal and start dieting from tomorrow.” Well, I will agree if it's just once a week. A healthy diet is very important, I learned it the hard way so I hope you won't.
