French Connection: Helping us Northern Lasses!

Being a minimal dresser can be tricky at Christmas, which is a time for sequins and sparkle. Sequins and sparkle are two things I just would not know how to wear, so I steer clear (I don't think that will come as a surprise!) However, black is something I do know how to wear, and I am going to stick to it, even in this time of sparkle! These trousers are the same pair I have in grey (on sale too!), and I think I might love this black pair even more. They look so elegant and dressy, yet so so simple. I chose to team them with this top, it is simple yet so perfectly festive and girly!! Just look at those pearls on the neckline... heaven!
I hope this outfit might give you guys some ideas if you don't want to be heading out to Christmas dos in sequins or a dress. Another reason I am sharing the French Connection love it to let you know about an event they have in their Northern stores this Thursday. I LOVE living in the North, and if I ever move to London it will be kicking and screaming as I have no desire to be there. However, there are so many things I have to say no to because of it, as most of the blogger events all take place in London.
