LET ME INTRODUCE YOU
Let me introduce you Jana Klouckova /Kudrnova. Jana is a very talented illustrator from the Czech Republic and when we spotted her sweet kids posters we knew straightaway they would be wonderful for our shop. Since then her collection in our shop has grown to Alphabet Poster, Raised By Woolves T- shirt, I Love You Honey card, It's a Bear! card and not to forget the ever so popular Mama Bear Poster. Jana prepares loads of projects for her kids and you can follow her and get free printable downloads over at her blog - z lesa (from wood).
We asked Jana few questions: Who are you and what do you do? I'm freelance graphic designer and illustrator. I live with my family in the middle of the woods which influences my creativity, thinking and expressing. The last few years I've been mainly creating for kids (not only for them) with form of modern illustration with colours of deep forest. Any kids, pets? Two kids. Golden retriever and a few stray cats. What do you do in your free time? With my 3 year old girl and 10 month old baby boy I don't have much time, but I'm lucky that I can still work from home. So I work in my free time and I love it. What are you listening/ reading/ watching at the moment? I'm addicted to audio books, and at the moment mainly Scandinavian detective stories. Sometimes I take catalogues from exhibitions and I feel like I live a student life once again. What makes you happy? Coffee with milk, weekends, spring, garden. A lot of other things. Have you got any plans for this year? Things you would like to achieve or experience? I can not wait when my little boy will be playing games with me. When we first park a toy car into our handmade paper garage. I loved that time with my daughter. ....I would like also design new posters for my kids, as the ones I created I took and used somewhere else. And I would also like to start a ceramic course....
