Whiny Wednesday: Baby L's Latest Accessory (+ giveaway!)

If you follow iheartheels on Instagram (you do, right?), you know there's a big mixture of pacys and peeptoes these days. ;) I just can't help myself. When I see something cute, I snap a shot of it. Um, like. this. pacy. Y'all! Isn't it just perfect? Kinda thought she needed something personalized right away.

I was thrilled when MAM said they'd send us these pacys with exactly what I wanted on them (baby L) and our fav color, pink. Anyone can order one of these and you can personalize just how you like it. They're around $20, and I think it's just the cutest idea! (Delivery period is about three to four weeks.) You can choose 0-6 months or 6-36. And I was surprised that you get up to three lines of text on the pacy!

MAM is BPA-free (whew) and actually good for the skin because it has holes for air to escape. They're also ideal for baby's jaw and sit perfectly in the mouth for the best development (MAM works closely with orthodontists in this respect). They also use natural latex and a special "Silk Teat" that's a soft silicone that will stay in the mouth easier without slipping - and obvi it's more comfy to the baby.

Breastfeeding advocates say to wait as long as you can to use a pacifier when you first begin nursing. And darned if I've set out to make that my mission with both babies only to fail to two very big little suckers. :) My babies need to suck constantly, so alas I never gave them one in the hospital, but with both I began using one the first couple of nights home. I'm not advocating either way (it never bothered my nursing with either baby, but apparently it can others, so we were lucky), but I am here to say a mama's gotta do what a mama's gotta do. And some babies just need that extra soothing, ya know?

I personally can't wait to use these baby L pacys when we're out and about...they should def be a statement piece. :)
