Every so often I’ll challenge myself with a piece of clothing I’ve spent a lot of time avoiding.
This time is was a burnt orange knee-length dress. I used to seriously lack appreciation for anything that was longer than mid-thigh, but I fell in love with the color and fit of this dress, so I bought it on a whim at a thrift store and told myself it was going to be one of those pieces that I was going to style or die trying.
I went with rich colors and since my hair did enough of the work already, my blue Cynthia Vincent bankers clutch gave the look a solid dose of contrast that kinda makes up my go-to outfit formula, especially for the current fall fashion.
