THINKING OF: FRINGE

Because I was wrong , and western anno 2014 is actually pre-tty cool.
Western has been done. Countless of times. ANd it has always bothered, the main reason being that it has for the most been interpreted in very litterer, almost costumey way. And always, always so pretentialy feminine bordering to a very sexualised version of a cliche heroine in early Shawn Connery movies.
But when Chuiri and Piccioli sent down a fringed cape down the runway,I raised an eyebrow, when that cape came in the leopard jacquard version and later in different shapes and colors of suede I knew I had to rest my case.Than Calvin Klein introduced their version of minimalistic fringe followed by the ephonimous Tamara Melon skirts and Gucci bags. I was sold. No worse, I was/am lusting. There is something so desirable about fringes worn in a very minimalistic way (ref: google the amazing Sarah Harris)that epitomizes modern women-keeping it simple, yet not lacking on the impact.
However all of these are investment pieces deluxe (read this as costing really s***tloads of money) so my pore wallet can’t handle all that investment at once. I think I will have to save for a while.
