MONOCHROME RECONSIDERED

…And a little bit ‘what to wear tonight inspo’

I will admit never to have favored black&white print on a garment. I have always perceived it as way to much (probably because this kind of colorblocking has always had some 60′s reference and I really am not into 60′s fashiowise. Nor will I ever be) and very visually attacking.
While Marc Jacobs spring 2013 collection may have given me doubts about my aversion, and maybe even mad me reconsider 60′s done right, I still find the whole B&W print very demanding to wear.BUT, and there is a but- the latest combination of beige and black s a completely different affair.
It still has this visual impact that B&W is so much loved for, but is much softer, and thus more allusive and even more romantic (now that’s the word you probably never thought you would here me use).
Anyway, I sported this ‘monochrome reconsidered’ last week when I was in Oslo. While that sleeveless Celine was perfect with the skirt, it is still chilly, so I tousled the this amazing nubuck Acne piece over.

Proenza Schouler skirt and heels, Acne jacket.
