GUCCI SS15

Earlier in September I had the chance to come by Gucci showroom (it is as amazing you would imagine) to take a closer look at their SS15.

Now, Gucci was one of my favorite shows for SS15 with many pieces between ready-to-wear and editorial, but it wasn’t until I had the chance to see the details and feel the soft fabrics underneath my fingers I could grasp the amount if couturesque work that has gone into collection. For example all the beading was done by hand, and those who know fabrics are aware of amount of skill it takes to bead most delicate charmeuse, or on the other side of the scale- leather (all those amazing vests!!). The collection was oozing of femininity and pretty clear reference to 70´s, with some of the coolest dresses sent down the runway this season. The big laces, japanese denim, military jackets- the whole pacakge of my favorite garments packed in one collection. And at that point I was yet to see bags and shoes! Now I was eyeing couple of suede beauties for a while now, but I think I will end up investing in the beauty on top. The new sports take on their classics makes it so fantatsucly versatile for day AND night. And don’t even get me started on shoes, python, suede, knee high, ankle boots. Perfection.
