Dans Le Jardin
Well, the rain has certainly perked things up around here. All of the plants that bloom this time of year got right down to business. I snuck out yesterday between showers to capture some of the action.
Grevillea. Adore these and wish I’d planted more of them. Only downside is a short blooming season but the lacy foliage is lovely year round.
Don’t know what this is called either, but love the diminutive white blossoms against the dark green foliage.

Will you be watching the Oscars tonight? I’m a little embarrassed to admit that I’ve seen almost none of the nominated films. I may try to catch some of the red carpet action online. I can hardly wait to see what Lupita Nyong’o will be wearing as well as our favorite “certain age” contingent: Dame Judi Dench, Meryl Streep, June Squibb. I always appreciate the elegance they bring.
She knows her look (narrow column of color with interesting details) and tends to stick to it.
