Chanel Spam

I figured it was time for a treat, so I decided to show you swatches of Chanel polishes today. If you like Chanel polishes, I would suggest two blogs for you: ChaHeVu, who has the most impressive Chanel collection, and Polished Elektra, who recently started “Chanel Sunday”. Obviously some of these aren’t readily available anymore, but you can always stalk various blogsales and auctions on the platform of your choice. And quite a few have good dupes!

Chanel Tulipe Noir is a shimmery burgundy red. The shimmer is golden, just how I like it. Absolutely gorgeous! 2 coats.

Chanel Paradoxal was the color of 2010 – a murky grey/purple, one couldn’t really tell which color it actually was. Sadly I never liked this on me, and after four years of wearing it twice, maybe three times, we parted and Paradoxal lives with my mum now. 2 coats.

Chanel Noir Ceramic is not only black, no! It has a distinct silver shimmer to it, making it look, well, like a ceramic glass cooktop. I really like the look! 2 coats.

Chanel Mysterious is a really, really dark olive green. Not my cup of tea (gladly, because I only borrowed it!). 2 coats.

Chanel Mistral is so pretty! It’s a jelly-esque light peachy pink with iridescent glitter sparks. So lovely, I just wish it had a different base color. 3 coats.

Chanel Cosmique is a night blue polish with shimmer. One of those shades I love on other people. 2 coats.

Chanel Alchimie is a shimmery olive green polish. I debated buying this forever and a day, but left it be after due consideration. Now that I borrowed it from a friend, I’m happy I didn’t buy it, because China Glaze does olive shimmers so much better! 2 coats.

Which Chanel is your favorite shade from the brand? I’m curious.
