If you’re like me, you want your manicures to last more than half a day, but with holos, that’s often a problem. A topcoat helps seal in your color and makes your mani last longer, but the thing is that most top coats dulls the holographic effect. So you basically have to choose between having a spectacular mani that chips very quickly, or a longer lasting mani that isn’t as holographic as you’d like it to be.
What if I say that you don’t have to choose anymore? A while back, Karianne gave a tip about a top coat that doesn’t dull holographic nail polishes. This magic potion is called Sally Hansen Diamond Flash Fast Dry Top Coat.
Too good to be true? Definitely not! In the previous post, I’m wearing it over Layla Emerald Divine, and as you can see, the effect is as impressive as ever. If you’re still not convinced, here’s a nail wheel pic of my three Laylas in the sunlight. One half of each swatch is with topcoat, the other is without. Can you tell which is which?
