Is anyone out there?

Well, hey there! I'm updating my blog, can you believe it? It's been about four months since the last time I blogged. Things have just been so crazy that I barely have time to brush my hair. But I do miss my little place to write down my thoughts. So, although I won't be blogging every day, I will be here over sharing a few times a month. On to the exciting updates!

Alyssa is almost done with her third grade school year. It's been a little bit of a struggle, as she started a new school this year. I think we can call this an adjustment year and just work harder next year. She's on spring break next week and is looking forward to spending time with her Mimi and her cousins. Her birthday is still a few months away, but we've started planning a big camping party/sleepover and she is just thrilled.

Emily is almost eighteen months and she is just a bundle full of energy and personality. This girl loves to eat and would be content playing in a bucket of water for hours every day, if we would let her. She's a total water baby. I recently spotted at least two molars coming in and except for a light fever, she has been quite the trooper. My favorite thing about Emily though, is that she will babble all day long. I just know she's got a ton to say and I can't wait until she finds actual words to say it.

The surprise! I found out in December that I am expecting my third (and probably last!) baby. The kicker? I found out in February that it's another girl. It's been quite a struggle so far this year. Things have been far from easy, but that's a story for another day. Baby girl number three is due August 12th and despite the difficulties, I know she will be a blessing for everyone around her.
