Hope you’re all having a lovely week! We’re in the midst of family birthday season at our house (all five of our birthdays fall within a two-month span!), so we took a little trip out of town this past weekend to celebrate. The plan was to enjoy the lazy river and water slides at the resort where we were staying, but it ended up being a bit too chilly when the weather turned decidedly fall-ish for the exact two days that we were there. Seriously, it NEVER dips into the 50s in central Texas as early as mid-September! But it did, so we found other, non-pool-related means of entertainment and still had a fun time. The most memorable moment of the weekend was probably when the toddler child accidentally locked herself inside our hotel room with no way for us to reach her…but thankfully a kindly security guard was able to break into the room before too many minutes had passed. I have no doubt that our little stinker will continue to keep us on our toes as she officially turns two later this week!
