GOD IS SO GOOD!

My husband was originally scheduled for exploratory surgery today to remove and unknown baseball sized "mass" in his abdomen but he was in so much pain on Sunday night that I took him to the Emergency Room.
Long story short, they did the surgery Monday and found that his appendix had exploded months ago. They could see where it used to be, but there was no sign of it now. Instead there was a huge infection that had taken 6 months to grow. It was the size of a cantaloupe and had infected the muscle behind the intestines that controls your hip and leg movement.
His white cell count never went up and only recently when it spread to the front of his abdomen did he start to have abdominal tenderness.
The surgery went well. They removed all of the infected tissue and did a small resection but reconnected everything and he's expected to make a full recovery.
The doctors are baffled as to how he could possibly have had such a huge infection for so long without his white cell count going up or without developing sepsis. I'm not. God protected him. I've been praying for his health for months because he seemed so run down and I've had others praying too and God answered our prayers and held him together until he could get the treatment he needed.
