Illuminated Industrial Wedding Ideas
Do you crave a little edge to your tradition? Do you long to turn the classic wedding ideas upside down? Then you are just who Amy Champagne Events was thinking of when she designed this shoot with plenty of illuminated industrial wedding ideas packed into it.
Much like the bride above, this shoot is breathtakingly beautiful but with just enough modern surprise to keep things interesting. Intrigued? Us too! From Amy Champagne Events: This “Illuminated Industrial” inspired photo shoot is intended to shake up a typical wedding decor scheme. Metal engraved invitations and escort cards were displayed with creative papers and florals.
The bride’s gown was chosen to tie into the subtle use of metal in the shoot with a platinum-stitched lace fabric, paired with a bold, edgy jewelry choice. Although the shoot had an edgier feel, we carried a black tie style with the bridal party to encourage a touch of a traditional element. A ceremony site was created with barn board privacy walls and exposed bulb lighting draped to create a canopy overhead. Seating for the ceremony consisted of stacked shipping pallets draped with sheepskin throws.
A modern edge was created by swapping the expected lighting and chandelier with the table runner and floral centerpiece. The look and feel was achieved with flowers suspended from a wooden crate chandelier over the table and an Edison bulb strung centerpiece. The result was a unique design that was interesting and fun. Additional elements in this shoot included a dessert spread that was displayed on an antique work table.
The cake design was created with the thought of bringing in a clean, bold element to the wedding reception. The ceremony site pallets were later converted into a chic and interesting drinks lounge, illuminated by candlelight and amber up-lighting.
