KICKING UP DUST

DETAILS:
StyleNanda crop top, Monki pants, raw denim coat from Seoul, Nike Free FlyKnit 4.0, Rib & Hull leather Heirloom tote, Céline Papillon Sunglasses from MatchesFashion.com and TWELVEoTWO x Chris Habana Undertow cuff and Drift ring from The9thMuse.

Did anyone else catch DAFF (Design Art & Fashion Fair) in Shanghai last weekend? We were debating whether we should go or not (since it seems to be the same shit different venue each time we go) but our friends visiting from HK wanted to check it out AND my lovely friend Lexie from Strictly Cookies had a stall, so we ended up heading over to West Bund! This time round, the venue was really great; a huge industrial dome that was a former industrial cement plant (although all the dust from its former life decided to stick around) with most of the food vendors outdoors and the fashion, art and random stuff all situated in the huge interior of the reconverted cement plant.

Jason says I never wear half the clothes I have. True story but I love all my clothes so NO JASON I do NOT want to give them away wahahahhaah. One of said items is this light blue bleached out denim raw-edge trench coat thingy that we literally hunted down for hours on our previous trip to Seoul. I’ve worn it twice on the blog already!! Here and here. Paired with my most basic items: black loose elastic hem pants and a whatever croptop and this trusty leather tote from Rib & Hull. When it comes to black totes, I rotate between this and my Céline cabas tote just because I treat the Céline like a precious gem so for more of the relaxed days, I’ll use this Rib & Hull one which is super thick and sturdy and perfect for lugging around all my crap. Also, hello to my new favourite sunglasses! Hunted for these in Hong Kong to disappointing results but luckily found them on Matchesfashion.com and BOOM within 7-10 days of ordering, they were HERE on my FACE! Yay! BUT, I have to ask: WHO WORE IT BETTER? Me or Sumo?

Kicking up dust!

N2 Gelato Lab Ice Cream – I had a mango gelato coke float, surprisingly good! Shanghai’s very own version of HK’s LabMade ice cream. I prefer the HK one but of course..I’m super biased.

These boys! Jason and Mark Goss!

HOWWW can you sit on this dusty “pillows”. Public pillows in a dust bowl…mind boggling.

An artist who was against cancer made these gross cancer bad guys into toys for kids..love the vending machine idea though!

UGH So in love with my new Céline Papillon sunglasses! Thanks Matches Fashion and Social Capital!

Rocking that TWELVEoTWO cuff and ring, my special ring, Cartier watch and Tiffany bracelets.

Yay happy Amy and Mark!

Very out-of-nowhere Bike Polo!

Alien spaceship landing!!!

Undertow cuff and Drift ring from The9thMuse.

Received these two beautiful pieces from the newest designed collection called TWELVEoTWO from The9thMuse in collaboration with downtown cool jewellery designer Chris Habana. I’ve been wearing at least one or both of these pieces everyday since I received them. They just fit into my current jewellery rotation perfectly: silver and minimalist but a little special. When we got engaged, someone asked if I was going to change the way I wear rings and I never actually thought about that but have noticed that I’ve since started wearing sometimes no rings or just really small dainty ones to not distract from my actual engagement ring. The TWELVEoTWO Drift ring is the perfect simple ring to wear on my index finger away from my engagement ring. The new collection is out now online as well as in their newly renovated store on Lyndhurst Terrace. Check out pics of the new space below! Totally in love with the geometric tiled floor!
