Your Designs This Time – No.14 & Giveaway
Who is ready to celebrate? “Celebrate what?” you ask. Our one year Blogiversary. That’s right. After 300 Facebook likes, over 200 tweets on twitter, 1,000 pins on Pinterest, and well over 150 blog posts, we made it. A whole year. Woo hoo!
Along with our success, we have certainly had our low moments too.
Did you know it was possible to accidentally delete an entire blog? Well, it is, and we speak from experience. Last August during a routine blog update, poof! Gone! All of our hard work on our posts and designing the blog. Gone. When we realized this happened, we both switched to problem solving mode and tried to recover our missing posts. (In fact, we still have a couple to update. Oops.)
And who would possibly be clumsy enough to drop their DSLR camera on top of their Macbook Pro? If you guessed us, your answer was right my friends. The track pad still needs to be fixed. If it was an easy DIY repair, you know it would have already been handled, and blogged about. There are just somethings we have to leave to the professionals.
Even with these “technical” issues, we have still managed to learn a lot about running a blog and made some great bloggy friends along the way.
We also want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us in any way, and/or shared our projects on their blogs. Good House Keeping blog even recognized us this year with a feature! (To see more of who has featured us, please check out our Features/Links page.)
