Last summer we had the opportunity to have photos taken as a family in my home state - and they're still some of my favorites. You can only see it barely peeking out under the boys in this photo - but they're laying down on a quilt that one of my great aunts made. The vintage style patterned paper and Maya Road embellishments were a perfect compliment to the nostalgic feel of the photoshoot for me.

I also managed to slip an actual piece of vintage paper beneath the photo in the heart inset.

Maybe the biggest thing it makes me long for is the cool, inviting summers in the midwest. Either way. I think it feels like a breath of fresh air.
