Sparkle and Shine For The Holidays

Hello Roadies! Today I have another Christmas project to share. This time using some of the amazing goodies from the Sparkle and Shine Holiday Kit.

The kit came with a paper mache box, which I used to create the topper of my swag. I used my Silhouette to cut the deer images out of vinyl. The vinyl was then applied to the box and used as a stencil. Using a sharp exacto knife the images were cut out by hand.

The original depth of the box was about three inches. For this this project I felt that was a little too deep, so I cut off about an inch. The box was then covered with patterned papers. Behind the legs of the deer I attached some painted cardboard wrapped with twinejute. Brown glitter was then applied around the edges of the box and to the antlers of the deer.

The box was then embellished with wood, metal and chipboard snowflakes. To decorate the bottom of the box I tied three straws together with twine and added a twine bow. Some gold leaves were glued behind the straws and some festive bells attached.

To create the ball ornaments I wrapped some foam balls with twine. Some of the ornaments were then covered with glitter.

Snowflake Clips and Chipboard Snowflakes were also attached to the swag, using hot glue.

Happy Holidays, Roadies!
