Product Review: Subtle Energies Detox Body Scrub (+ Giveaway)

Winter is coming. THANK. GOODNESS. I love the colder months of the year, but I tend to fall victim to the weather and let my skin-prep upkeep fall by the wayside (mostly because I’m freezing cold and dying to get out of the shower as soon as I step in). This year I plan to make more of an effort to ensure my skin is freshly scrubbed and moisturised AT ALL TIMES where possible. The first product I’m trying out is the Subtle Energies Rasayana Detox Body Scrub. I love a gritty body scrub. I love the grit. This scrub has a very subtle grain to it, which works wonderfully on my sensitive skin. It’s suggested that you use the scrub once a week, which I do, and it’s enough to keep skin freshly buffed (and as an added bonus, the Rasayana Detox Body Scrub can be used on freshly waxed skin to help prevent ingrown hair). The scrub has a spicy herbal scent to it – which is not something I normally reach for, but it’s not unbearable. All of the elements come together to make this scrub really feel like a ‘spa’ product.
