Nasty Gal are on some next level shoe game - they just launched Shoe Cult, a line of footwear that they designed. Shoes are one of my serious weaknesses - if you've seen me moseying about the Senso Warehouse sales, or have even seen the amount of times I've instagrammed at that sale (there's one coming up this Thursday which I'm staying far, far away from), or hovering conspicuously at any given shoe store at any given time...anyway. They want to give you guys who love shoes some love back, and I'm giving away a $150 gift card to use on anything you want from Nasty Gal (but I strongly recommend you consider these babies because who can really afford Alexander Wang). All you gotta do is comment with your Name and e-mail in the comments and a random winner will be drawn in two weeks on the 3rd of September.
I like claiming that i was on that Balenciaga 'Join a Weird Trip' thing before it was even a thing - look at my totes edgy band shirt of a folk-comedy duo who rap about tea parties! Post-punk alt grunge chic! - circa Flight of the Concords Newcastle 2012. Long story short, we missed out on tickets to the Sydney show, promptly declared a road trip and bought tickets to their Newcastle show only to wake up the next day to the announcement of a second Sydney show. We still made the drive up, and i think we were the only Asians inb a crowd of 1000 Newcastlians. Every time my friends break out into 'Too Many Dicks on the Dance Floor', life seems a little more worth living.
