Anatomical Surrealism

There's something super gnarly about the alarming red of our insides against the backdrop of traditionally portrait-limited backdrops - of the very tame, straight faced and blank-gazed type. All the facial expressions seem to be somewhat placid, erring on the side of slight discomfort, like the mild numbness of your mouth while in the dentist's chair. If my skin was peeled back to reveal all of my insides like a recurring nightmare, I'm not so sure I'd only be subtly grimacing - more like uncontrolled hollering and wild gesticulating.
In other news, I just watched the final episode of Breaking Bad and am unsure of what to do with myself, so have resorted to listening to Red Hot Chilli Peppers Greatest Hits and staring blankly at my bedroom wall. I'm so emotional right now, please don't touch me.
