A Glitzy and Glam Art Deco Inspired Engagement Party

During the months leading up to your wedding day, there will be many occasions to celebrate! One of my favorite pre-wedding parties has to be the engagement party! It's a party thrown to not only to celebrate your recent engagement, but to also help future wedding guests to get to know one another.
And with so many new engagements happening every day, I thought it would be exciting to create a fun and festive look for an engagement party. So, we teamed up with Freixenet sparkling wine on this creative, celebratory shoot. And lucky for me, Lauren Rae Photography was there to capture every darling detail. Think mini bottles of bubbly, handmade pinwheels, modern motifs, and lots of sparkle.
Oh, and a bubbly bar. Need I say more? Nothing says "let's celebrate" quite like popping open a little bottle of bubbly. And these, my friends, are some of the cutest bottles I've seen! Their black and gold label works so well with so many color palettes, but I'm especially loving how well it works with this yellow and gray palette.
Things to be on the look out for: handcrafted chocolates, beautiful chiavari chairs with Art Deco inspired embellishments, sparkly table linens, chevron accents, and the easiest DIY floral arrangement idea you'll ever see!

I had so much fun styling this party! The mini bottles were easily dressed up with yellow ribbon and a festive paper straw while this modern chevron motif was carried throughout many of the details. Here lately, I've really been drawn to designs that incorporate a mix of modern and vintage styles. And I think this styled shoot is a perfect example of that.
Chocolates made to look like vintage buttons, cameos, and typewriters make the perfect conversation pieces, while these simple floral arrangements with billy balls and baby's breath added to the overall style and were so easy to put together!
Freixenet’s matte black mini bottles are not only super cute, but they can also easily be fashioned into elegant and personalized party or wedding favors. Plus I just love the idea of sitting each bottle in a small dish and presenting it on ice! It's the perfect way to get the party started. Wouldn't you agree?
If you love these mini bottles as much as I do, then I invite you to enter this very exciting contest! Freixenet is actually hosting a Facebook contest where you could win up to 125 mini bottles and a memory magnum. All you have to do is hop on over to the Freixenet Facebook page and enter to win!

P.S. You can follow along with Freixenet on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram!
