Eye Cream Round Up

For awhile I only had one eye cream, and I didn’t like it. I replaced it with a different one. Now I somehow have 5 eye creams. Who needs FIVE?! Yes, two of them are sample sizes, but a little really goes a long way. Eye creams can easily be forgotten, but they are SO important! Our eyes show signs of aging quickly, so it is important to start taking care of them early. Now that I have 5 eye creams, I’m on a quest to find the perfect one.

Benefit It’s Potent Eye Cream $34.00 (Sample size pictured)

Uhm…THIS PACKAGING? Might just buy a full size to look pretty in my bathroom :) I’d say this is pretty much your run of the mill high end eye cream. It moisturizes like a dream but isn’t too heavy on the skin so I can apply make up afterward. I have sensitive under eyes, and this doesn’t make my skin burn at all. I’m not too familiar with Benefit skincare, but I’d say this product was a success!

Michael Todd True Organics Intensive Eye Treatment $38

I love Michael Todd products because they are over 90% natural and full of good for you and good for your skin ingredients. The Intensive Eye Treatment has collagen to fight bags and increase elasticity. The formula is more like a very thin serum. I find it does not soak into my skin very fast, so I use this more at night. I am also not a huge fan of the packaging (an issue I have with other Michael Todd Products). No matter what too much product comes out! I prefer the pot style when it comes to eye creams.

Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream $49 (Sample size pictured)

I received this adorable little sample in a 500 pt perk from Sephora, and was so happy to be able to try out this rather infamous Bobbi Brown product. So, I like this, a lot actually, but not for $49!! The product hydrates and melts into skin really well. Similar to the Benefit eye cream, it dries quickly, which is a must for me. I can totally see why people like this product, but there must be a cheaper version. I assume a full size would last a very long time though, since so little is needed.

Jeffrey James Organics The Eye Gel $42

Thankfully I got a good deal on this product, because that would have been a lot for me to spend. Jeffrey James products are so simple and luxurious, and ORGANIC! Aloe and cucumber are strong in this product which is not only hydrating but cooling, which helps fix bags. There is collagen present here as well to fight aging. The gel aspect was hard to get used too, but I have since come to like it. I apply a thin layer before moisturizer, and then make up goes on smoothly.

L’Oreal Youth Code Eye Cream (Discontinued…?)

Can’t seem to find this on L’Oreal’s website, so I’ll assume it has been discontinued. I purchased it about a year ago. I was using an eye gel that I felt was making my fine lines WORSE, so I replaced it with this. I instantly saw a difference. Overall my eyes looked younger and healthier. After awhile of use, I feel like it has stopped working as well. It doesn’t make my eyes sting and dries super quickly.

What is your favorite eye cream? It might take me years to finish all of these, but at SOME point I’ll need recommendations!
