To A New Year!

Happy New Year! Better late than never, eh? Sorry I’ve been so MIA lately. I recently had a Winter break from school and kind of stayed away from social media and the computer. It was nice to take time away from the Internet and get back in touch with the real world.

I honestly had such a blast during the Winter break. Most days I spent catching up with family and friends. It was so nice to be able to socialize again since my schooling doesn’t exactly give me time to do so. I was also able to organize my life and get things sorted out for the new year. I had so much fun during the break though. I went to a few music shows including a 2-day festival that featured DJ’s such as Skrillex, Kaskade, Diplo, Dirty South, RL Grime, Flosstradamus and many more! On New Years Eve I went to another show that featured Hardwell, Dannic, Sick Individuals and more. It was such an amazing way to bring in the new year. I’ve fallen in love with music all over again and have already bought tickets to 4 more shows this year! It’s going to be a fun year, haha.

Aside from the crazy amount of fun I had over the break, I also took the time to make a few resolutions for myself. First of all, I’ll be finishing my final semester of school in May. I’m nervous but excited to really start life and experience things I never could’ve imagined. A promise I’m making to myself is to really go for what I want in life and strive to be the best I can be at whatever I’m doing. This year is the beginning of the rest of my life and I plan to make the most of it. I am a very ambitious person and have high expectations for myself in life and I don’t plan to settle for anything less. My ultimate goal career wise is to enter the fashion industry and I ‘m doing so from the business side as I’m taking marketing in post secondary. I hope to combine my education in business with my passion for fashion to achieve my dream job.

Another goal I have for myself this year is to really focus on my blog and my love for fashion. Back in the summer I created eDanzzy, but unfortunately school started and I wasn’t able to give it the attention it needed. For 2014, I plan to dedicate a significant amount of time to improving eDanzzy and maintaining consistency and making it all that I can. I really want to express, through my blog, my love for fashion and beauty. Somewhere I can share my thoughts and be a part of a community that share the same interests and passions.

I would say those are the two biggest resolutions I have for myself for 2014. I of course also plan to be healthier physically and mentally and to really enjoy life and live it up! Haha. I wish the best for everyone this year, let’s make 2014 the best year yet!
