Visiting: Warsaw, Poland

Warsaw is the city I was born in. I love going back there. Most of my family is still there and it's always fun going back to where I grew up and also visiting old town Warsaw and all the cultural sights. Warsaw is the capital and largest city in Poland. It's crazy to think most of it was destroyed during WW2. But it was re-built and still thriving with its historical and cultural charm.

What I love about Warsaw, and most other cities in Poland, are the charming old town streets, amazing architecture, blooming flowers everywhere, and all the colors!
I love the colorful buildings. From turquoise to green to orange, they are so charming!
You will always find some unique aspects in this town, and there are so many postcard- perfect settings.
You can wander all day and see so many unique shops, cafes, and restaurants. Each corner brings something fun and unique.
Polish architecture in old town Warsaw, along with all the interesting groups of people there offers many hours of people watching and just soaking up the settings. So much to explore.
From the Barbican wall to the Royal Castle, and to the Old Town Market Square, my camera barely left my hands as I wanted to capture everything.
Oh and the food.. Polish food is what I miss the most! Pierogi, cabbage rolls, and so many sweet desserts. If we weren't walking, we were likely eating!

Musicians at almost every corner sure made for a lovely atmosphere, especially while sitting outside at the patio sipping a cold drink.
Growing up in Poland for the first eight years of my life was a lot of fun. Those years are by far the richest in my memory. It's always nice going back there since as a kid I didn't really appreciate the beauty of such charming and rich-in-culture sights as I do now.
Warsaw, Poland... definitely worth a visit! I can't wait to go back!
