Friday Favorites
Summer is just about over and the year is more than half way done. The next five months of 2014 will be a lot of fun I’m hoping and here are five things I’m looking forward to over the next few months.
ONE My daughter’s birthday. She turns eight in October and I am planning a birthday party for her right now. I have passed my love of birthdays on to her and she is so excited and constantly telling me things to add to her birthday wish list.

TWO My husband uses the majority of his vacation time in October because that’s when my birthday and our daughter’s birthday both are. His birthday is real close to fourth of july so he can’t take time of then because holiday season is busy. It will be nice having him home most of the month.
THREE My 30th birthday is in October. We are going to Palm Springs as a family for a week and I am really looking forward to getting away on a little trip. My grandma is letting us use her condo for the week so that means it won’t be a very expensive trip for us. Just food, gas and activities.
FOUR Even with all the hassle that goes along with rehearsals and costumes I’m excited for my daughter being in the Nutcracker in December. She has auditions this weekend.

FIVE
This Christmas my sister is bringing my niece and nephew out from the East Coast for Christmas. We only get to see them once or twice a year since they moved so it’s exciting when they visit. Last year they couldn’t come for Christmas so we are so happy they will be here for the Holidays. My niece also has her birthday around the same time so we can see her for her birthday too.
