TGIF-gratitude post

I love doing post like this because I feel it’s so important for my mental and emotional well being to stop and think about what I’m grateful for. Sometimes life gets tough and we all have bad days and it’s good to balance that out with thinking about the positives.

Grandparents: I’m lucky that growing up I had an amazing papa and three grandmas. One is a step grandma and my moms dad didn’t choose to be in our lives but it evened out in that I had 1 grandpa and 3 grandmas I also had great grandparents and still do. I’m also very lucky Bella has my parents, my mother-i-law and her husband, who is a grandfather to Bella and my Father in law and his wife, who is a grandma to Bella. So she gets 3 grandmas and 3 grandpas plus my grandmas are all younger so they get to be a big part of her life. I know so many kids are lucky to get one or two and I had so many and so does my daughter.

Time with friends: My friend from high school and I hadn’t been able to hang out in a long time due to busy lives and this week we got to go to lunch and talk and hang out which was great. Next weekend another friend and her family are having a BBQ at their house with Blake, Bella and I. It’s good to get some friend time in.

My Pets: My cat has been the biggest snuggler this week with me. She was smashed up against my back in the middle of the night last night. Our dog is my baby and the sweetest thing. I love all our pets. Two cats, a dog a turtle and fish. I din’t think I’d really care for the turtle but she is actually pretty fun to watch.

My Blog: August really was a huge month for me my number of followers across social media grew hugely and my page views got over 20,000 which was big for me. I feel like this little blog is starting to be something and that excites me.
