Afternoon Coffee with Le Creuset
Spring is officially here although in Norway it is still a little bit cold. Though we have plenty of days full of sunshine, snow is covering quite a lot of the country and I couldn't be happier about it.
If there is anything that I am most grateful for however is the extra light we are getting during this season and forward. Afternoons are always filled with a magical white light now, which makes taking photos so much easier. I always prefer natural light when it comes to photography, I think it elevates the subject and brings out its best features. Lately I am loving our Le Creuset mugs ( pots and pans and all) and while having an afternoon coffee I couldn't resist snapping some photos. Don't the new colors and design look wonderful in this light? I love the ceramic mugs for their look and their feel but also because of their utility since almost all their products can be placed on top or in the stove as well. The smaller one especially is perfect for a small microwave mug cake. When it comes to Le Creuset if I could have my way I would probably fill my kitchen completely with their products. The new colors are so beautiful and they look great when displayed in any type of kitchen. I have most of mine on display which makes cooking even easier since they are always at my arms reach. The colors you see above are Almond for the smaller coffee mug ( I also have it on Mineral Blue) and Nutmeg for the bigger Cappuccino mug. I have some of the older colors as well when it comes the cappuccino mugs but I am eyeing the Matte set and the new Cool Mint color collection for future purchases!
