SJP + Manolo Blahnik

So, it just doesn’t feel right to not give the Sarah Jessica Parker Manolo Blahnik shoe collection a proper applause. I know I mentioned it in passing, but let’s devote a whole morning to it, shall we? It’s just the most most, to say the least.

Have I ever spoken of my deep and forever love of Sex & The City? I never saw an episode until right after the series ended. It was my senior year at IU (Indiana) and I was enjoying my last year of college as a single girl for once after ending a 3 year relationship. I started Sex & The City at the very first episode and devoured them all in order (in between studying & socializing, naturally). It changed me. Those women had such a passion for life and love, all while remaining strong and independent. I know it’s just a show, but it was significant to me. The relationships, the careers, the fashion!! So this very first SJP collection is, in a way, a celebration! A celebration of shoes, handbags, and apparel, and the amazing women who wear them.
