Wearing MAC Mineralize Blush in Sweet Sentiment with Modest Blush to highlight
Mineralize blushes from MAC are some of my favorite items from the brand. In the case of the Holiday 2014 collection, the mineralize blushes were my top picks. I am disappointed though because there were just two shades, but they're pretty nonetheless.
Modest blush is described as a light baby salmon pink. I believe it's too light as a blush on my medium skintone, but I use it as a highlighter, and it really does brighten my complexion.
Sweet Sentiment is a beautiful rosy pink, a festive pink flush on the cheeks. This is my favorite of the two.
Mineralize blushes do have the tendency to have sheen, but the sheen from these new mineralize blushes are surprisingly subtle, and not a full-on metallic shimmer from many mineralize blushes or skinfinishes.
