Taco Salad

I created this delicious main course salad one day when I didn’t feel like making rice or spaghetti to go with my chili. It tastes just like a Taco Salad I once ate in a restaurant.

Ingredients

Easy, Easy Vegetarian Chili

tortilla chips

lettuce

sour cream

shredded cheese

mild salsa

Procedure

In a large plate stack chips, chili, lettuce, sour cream and shredded cheese. Top with salsa.

Variations

Taco Salad with Tomatoes: Add chopped tomatoes to the lettuce.

Taco Salad with the Garden: Add chopped tomatoes, chopped green onions, chopped green olives and chopped green peppers to the lettuce.

Hot, Hot, Hot Taco Salad: Skip the sour cream and use hot salsa instead of mild.
