YSL Rogue Volupte Review
I decided to spoil myself a bit and bought this luxurious lipstick from Yves Saint Laurent. I've heard a lot of good things about this (and the packaging looks really pretty!) so I swatched all the shades in the store and bought this lovely lipstick.
Packaging: It feels a bit heavier than most lipsticks that I own but for me, it's a good thing! It looks and feels so luxurious, to the point that you just want to buy every shade they've got so you can look at it all day (if only I have all the cash in the world) The way that the YSL logo is engraved makes it look so pretty. 10/10!
Quality: The lipstick is described as "light and covering, the cream texture becomes fluid on contact with the lips, for a delightful feeling and an exceptional gliding effect.” Based on the lipstick's promises, they are all true. I have very dry lips especially now that it's winter here in New Zealand, but this lipstick moisturises my lips and it isn't drying at all! My lips feel so smooth after applying the product, it also leaves a fruit taste which I actually like. I'm also in love with the colour I've chosen (Ultimate Beige) because it looks sophisticated and matches well with my skin tone (I'm afraid to experiment with daring colours though but I'll try next time!) The only factor that's missing is the staying power of the lipstick, it fades quickly so I have to reapply it every time I drink and/or eat. 8/10.

Overall: I don't regret buying this lipstick, as a matter of fact, it's one of my all time fave! But since it costs NZD$68, I can't afford to buy all the shades that I want.
Would I recommend it? It depends. You should get it if you suffer from dry/damaged lips because it really smoothes out your lips and make it look so kissable! However, if you're hunting down for something that stays on for hours, then this is NOT the lipstick you're looking for. And here's a selfie with the YSL lipstick on. Shameless selfie, I know.
